The seating treads of the cantilevered bench are usually composed of exotic hardwoods, like garapa or ipe. Ecotopes has prepared instructions for caring for these surface materials here.
DESIGN SUPPORT
Without front legs, there’s no obvious clue about how the bench will hold the weight of visitors, but it’s well supported. The cantilevered bench legs can extend into the ground beyond the edge of a patio or terrace, so that the activity surface is both visually uncluttered + unobstructed.
